# Create Auth Config - Github

Set up GitHub OAuth 2.0 authentication on Composio's dashboard using Composio-managed credentials. This allows your agents to authenticate with GitHub on behalf of users through a secure OAuth 2.0 flow without managing credentials directly.

## Steps

1. Click "Auth Configs" link
2. Click "Create" button
3. Type into "Search toolkits..." textbox
4. Click "GGitHubOAuth 2.0" button
5. Click "Next" button
6. Click "Secure, user-friendly login via OAuth 2.0 authorization flow" generic
7. Click "OAuth 2.0Secure, user-friendly login via OAuth 2.0 authorization flow" radio
8. Click "Composio Managed Recommended Get started quickly with Composio's secure defaults. You can switch to your own credentials anytime." label
9. Click "Composio ManagedRecommendedGet started quickly with Composio's secure defaults. You can switch to your own credentials anytime." radio
10. Click "Create Auth Config" button
11. Type into "Search toolkits..." textbox
