# Create Monitor

Create a new monitor in Exa's dashboard to automatically track and update Websets with fresh data. Monitors run on a configurable schedule (e.g., hourly) and can filter results using a JSON schema.

## Steps

1. Click "Monitors NEW" link
2. Click "Enter a search query for the monitor..." textbox
3. Type into "Enter a search query for the monitor..." textbox
4. Click "Daily" button
5. Type into "Enter a search query for the monitor..." textbox
6. Click "Hourly" button
7. Type into "Enter a search query for the monitor..." textbox
8. Click switch
9. Type into "Describe the JSON schema you need or paste valid JSON" textbox
10. Click "Generate" button
11. Click "Create monitor" button
