# Generate API Key

Generate an API key in Hyperspell by navigating to the API Keys section, creating a new key with a custom label, and copying it for use in your applications. This key is essential for authenticating API requests to Hyperspell's services.

## Steps

1. Click "API Keys" option
2. Click "Create API Key" button
3. Click generic
4. Type into "Label" textbox
5. Click "Create API Key" button
6. Click "Copy to clipboard" button
7. Click "Close" button
