# Index Document by Upload

Upload a PDF file to Nia's document management system to index it for searchable access. This workflow allows you to add custom documents to your workspace so they become available for search queries through Nia's Search & Index API.

## Steps

1. Click "Documents" link
2. Click "Index PDF" button
3. Click "Enter URL Upload File Drop PDF or click to browse Maximum file size: 200MB Display name (optional)" generic

5. Click "Index PDF" button
