# Add Employee During Onboarding

This workflow enables you to add a new employee to Sprinto during the onboarding process by capturing their contact information, employment status, joining date, and initiating mandatory compliance checks such as background verification. The newly created staff member record becomes the foundation for all downstream compliance and verification workflows.

## Steps

1. Click "Add Staff" button
2. Click "Staff email" textbox
3. Type into "Staff email" textbox
4. Click "First name" textbox
5. Type into "First name" textbox
6. Click "Employment" radio
7. Click "Yes, onboarding steps like background checks should commence." radio
8. Click "Date of joining" textbox
9. Click "Apr" button
