# Create New Supabase Project

Create a new Supabase project by entering a project name, setting a secure database password, and confirming creation. This gives you a dedicated PostgreSQL instance with an auto-generated API ready for development.

## Steps

1. Click "New project" link

3. Click "Project name" textbox
4. Type into "Project name" textbox
5. Click "Type in a strong password" textbox
6. Type into "Type in a strong password" textbox
7. Click "Create new project" button
8. Click "I understand" button
