# Edit Table

Edit a table's name in Supabase by accessing the table editor, modifying the table name field, and saving your changes. Use this workflow when you need to rename an existing table in your Postgres database.

## Steps

1. Click button
2. Type into "Name" textbox
3. Click "Edit table" menuitem
4. Click "Name" textbox
5. Type into "Name" textbox
6. Click "Save ⌘ ↵" button
