# Create Full Access Supermemory API Key

Create a full-access API key in the Supermemory console to authenticate programmatic requests to the Supermemory API. This key grants unrestricted permissions and is valid for one year.

## Steps

1. Click "CREATE KEY" button
2. Click "Key Name" textbox
3. Type into "Key Name" textbox
4. Click "API Keys No API keys yet Create your first API key to start using the Supermemory API programmatically. CREATE KEY Create New API Key Choose which actions this API key will be authorized to perform. KEY NAME EXPIRES 1 Year PERMISSIONS Full Access Sco" generic
5. Click "CREATE" button
6. Click "COPY & CLOSE" button
