Download Policy

Overview

Corgi Insurance is an AI-powered insurance platform built for startups, offering instant quotes and modular coverage options. Policy documents are stored securely in AWS S3 and can be downloaded at any time through the Corgi app interface. This workflow guides you through retrieving your policy document, which you may need for your records, to share with stakeholders, or to review coverage details. The download process is handled transparently—the system fetches the file from cloud storage and provides it to your browser or device.

Before you begin

  • You must have an active Corgi Insurance account and be logged into app.corgi.insure
  • Your account must have a policy document available (i.e., you have purchased or been issued a policy)
  • Your browser must have download permissions enabled
  • You must have internet connectivity and adequate storage space for the policy file

Step by step

1
ClickDownload policy

In the Corgi Insurance app, locate and click the Download policy button. This initiates the retrieval of your policy document from the secure AWS S3 storage location.

Tip. The download button is typically found in your policy details page or dashboard. If you have multiple policies, ensure you are viewing the correct policy before clicking download.
Step 1
2
Switch Tab

Your browser will open a new tab to process the file retrieval from AWS S3. Allow this tab to fully load and complete the request.

Tip. This intermediate tab may open briefly or remain open. It is normal for the system to switch between tabs during the file transfer process.
3
Navigate

The system navigates to the AWS S3 bucket (startup-line-documents-476864925795.s3.amazonaws.com) to fetch your policy file. The file is retrieved securely from cloud storage.

Tip. You may see the AWS S3 URL in your browser address bar briefly. This indicates the system is accessing your file from the secure cloud storage bucket. Do not manually navigate this URL—allow the system to complete the automatic retrieval.
4
Switch Tab

After the file retrieval is complete, your browser automatically switches back to the Corgi Insurance app. Your policy document will download to your default downloads folder or prompt you to select a save location, depending on your browser settings.

Tip. Check your browser's Downloads folder (usually accessible via Ctrl+J or Cmd+Shift+J) if you do not see an immediate save dialog. The file name will typically include your policy number and download date.

Confirm it worked

  1. 1The policy document file appears in your browser's Downloads folder or your configured download location
  2. 2The downloaded file is a readable PDF or document format with your policy details
  3. 3You are returned to the Corgi Insurance app after the download completes
  4. 4No error messages or 403 Access Denied errors appear during the download process
