Corgi Insurance is an AI-powered insurance platform built to deliver instant quotes and certificates of insurance for tech startups. When you need a COI to satisfy contract requirements, secure partnerships, or meet compliance obligations, Corgi enables you to generate and retrieve your certificate in minutes rather than days. This workflow walks you through requesting your certificate from the Corgi portal and then accessing the generated document from the secure AWS cloud storage where it is stored. This is particularly valuable for founders who face urgent deadlines and cannot wait for traditional insurance carriers to process COI requests.

Before you begin

  • Active Corgi Insurance account with an active policy or coverage plan

Step by step

ClickGet certificate

In the Corgi Insurance portal, locate and click the 'Get certificate' button to initiate the Certificate of Insurance generation process. This action tells Corgi to prepare your COI document, which is the first step toward obtaining proof of your active coverage.

Tip. The 'Get certificate' button is typically located on your coverage dashboard or policy details page. If you do not see it immediately, ensure you are logged in and have an active policy.

Switch Tab

Switch to a new browser tab or window to view the certificate document. Corgi opens your certificate in a separate tab from the Corgi portal, allowing you to access the generated file without leaving your account session.

Tip. If a new tab does not open automatically, your browser may have popup blocking enabled. You can also manually open a new tab and navigate to the S3 bucket URL that Corgi provides.

Navigate

Navigate to the AWS S3 bucket URL (startup-line-documents-476864925795.s3.amazonaws.com) in your browser to access and view your Certificate of Insurance document. This is the secure cloud storage location where Corgi stores your generated COI files.

Tip. The S3 bucket displays your certificate as a downloadable or viewable file. You can save the file to your computer or share the link directly with partners, vendors, or compliance teams. Ensure your browser allows viewing of PDF or document files.

Confirm it worked
