Overview

Keeping your ProjectX Infinity account secure requires periodic password updates. This workflow guides you through the built-in password reset feature available in your account settings. By following these steps, you'll access the Change Password interface where you can verify your current credentials and set a new password that meets your system's security requirements. This is essential whenever you suspect unauthorized access, want to strengthen your security posture, or are required to update credentials by your organization's policies.

Before you begin

  • An active account on infinity.projectx.cloud with login credentials
  • Access to the ProjectX Infinity dashboard (you must be logged in)
  • Knowledge of your current password (required to authenticate the change)

Step by step

Clickrahulkumaran

Click on your username (rahulkumaran) in the top navigation or menu area to access your user account options and menu.

Tip. Your username typically appears in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Clicking it opens a dropdown menu with account-related options.

ClickDashboard

Click the Dashboard button to ensure you are on the main dashboard view where you can access navigation options for your account settings.

Tip. The Dashboard button is usually located in the main navigation menu. This ensures you have access to all account management features.

ClickProfile

Click the Profile button in the navigation menu to navigate to your account profile section where password and other account settings are managed.

Tip. The Profile section is where all account-related settings are centralized. This is a common location for security and personal information updates.

ClickChange Password

Click the Change Password button to open the password change form, where you will enter your current password and set a new one.

Tip. After clicking Change Password, a form will appear with fields for your current password and new password. Ensure both fields meet the system's requirements before submitting.
Warning. Changing your password will affect your ability to log in. Make sure you remember your new password or have a secure way to store it. You will need to use the new password on your next login attempt.

Confirm it worked

  1. 1You are redirected to the Profile section and see the Change Password form displayed
  2. 2The Change Password form shows required fields for Current Password and New Password
  3. 3After successful submission, you receive a confirmation message indicating the password has been updated
  4. 4You can log in to infinity.projectx.cloud using your new password on your next login
