Meeting links

Overview

Your profile's meeting links are how colleagues, clients, and contacts can quickly access your preferred video conferencing platform and schedule time with you. By configuring a Google Meet link and a Calendly scheduling link, you create a seamless experience for anyone trying to connect with you—they won't need to ask for your meeting details or hunt for your calendar. This workflow walks you through updating both links and saving them to your profile on dev.doitliam.com.

Before you begin

  • You must have a dev.doitliam.com account with access to edit your profile.
  • You must have a Google Meet room or meeting link ready (e.g., meet.google.com/your-meeting-code).
  • You must have a Calendly account and a public scheduling link ready (e.g., calendly.com/your-name).
  • You must have edit permissions on your own profile.

Step by step

1
ClickProfile

Navigate to your profile by clicking the Profile link in the top navigation. This takes you to your profile page where you can manage your personal information and contact details.

Tip. The Profile link is typically in the main navigation bar at the top of the page.
Step 1
2
ClickMy Links Scheduling and video conference links used by Liam. Video: meet.google.com/uxr-pmnv-kxk · Scheduling: Not configured

Click the My Links button to open the scheduling and video conference link configuration panel. This section shows your current Google Meet and Calendly links, if any are already set.

Tip. The My Links button displays a summary of your current video and scheduling links. If no Calendly link is configured yet, it will show 'Not configured'.
Step 2
3
Clickhttps://meet.google.com/your-room

Click on the Google Meet link field (which contains the placeholder 'https://meet.google.com/your-room') to select it for editing.

Tip. This field may already contain a placeholder or an existing link. Clicking it highlights the text and prepares it for replacement.
Step 3
4
Typehttps://meet.google.com/your-room

Type your actual Google Meet link (e.g., 'https://meet.google.com/uxr-pmnv-kxk') to replace the placeholder. This is the video conference link that others will use to join your meetings.

Tip. Make sure your Google Meet link is publicly accessible and shares the specific meeting room code. You can find this link in your Google Meet account or calendar invites.
5
Clickhttps://calendly.com/your-link

Click on the Calendly link field (which contains the placeholder 'https://calendly.com/your-link') to select it for editing.

Tip. This field is for your Calendly scheduling link, which allows others to book time on your calendar without needing to ask for availability.
Step 5
6
Typehttps://calendly.com/your-link

Type your actual Calendly scheduling link (e.g., 'https://calendly.com/your-name') to replace the placeholder. This is the link that contacts will use to schedule meetings with you.

Tip. You can find your Calendly link in your Calendly account settings. It is typically in the format calendly.com/[your-username].
7
ClickSave links

Click the Save links button to persist your changes. Your profile will now display both your Google Meet and Calendly links to anyone viewing your profile.

Tip. After saving, you may see a brief success message or the page may refresh. Verify your changes by navigating back to My Links to confirm both links are now displayed.
Warning. Make sure both links are correct before saving. While you can always edit them again, saving incorrect links may cause confusion for contacts trying to reach you.
Step 7

Confirm it worked

  1. 1After clicking Save links, you should see a confirmation message or the page should return to the profile view without error.
  2. 2Navigate back to the Profile > My Links section and confirm both the Google Meet link and Calendly link are displayed under your name.
  3. 3The Google Meet link should show your meet.google.com URL and the Calendly link should show your calendly.com URL (no longer marked as 'Not configured').
