Remove User from Team

Overview

LeadPoet allows you to manage team members across your account, including removing users who no longer need access. Removing a team member immediately revokes their access to your LeadPoet account and all associated email lead generation pipelines. This is useful when team members leave your organization, change roles, or no longer require access to your lead data. Only account owners can perform this action; other roles lack the permissions to remove users.

Before you begin

  • You must be logged into LeadPoet with an account owner role (only owners can remove team members)
  • The user you wish to remove must already be a member of your LeadPoet account
  • You must have access to the Account section of your LeadPoet dashboard

Step by step

1
ClickAccount

Click the Account button to access your account settings and team management options.

Tip. The Account button is typically located in the main navigation area of your LeadPoet dashboard. It may be in the top menu bar or in a settings area depending on your account layout.
Step 1
2
Clickbutton

Click the button to access the team members list or management panel where you can view all current users on your account.

Tip. Look for options like 'Team Members', 'Users', or 'Manage Team' — this button opens the interface showing all users currently assigned to your account.
Step 2
3
ClickRemove member

Click the 'Remove member' button next to the user you wish to remove from your account to permanently revoke their access.

Tip. Most team member lists show a 'Remove member' or delete icon next to each user. Double-check you are selecting the correct user before confirming the removal.
Warning. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. The member's access is revoked immediately, and you will need to re-invite them if access needs to be restored in the future.
Step 3

Confirm it worked

  1. 1The removed user no longer appears in your team members list
  2. 2The user receives no further access notifications or invitations for your LeadPoet account
  3. 3If the removed user attempts to log in, they receive an access denied message or are no longer listed as a team member
