Update User Role in Team

Overview

Leadpoet is a done-for-you email lead generation platform that enables teams to collaborate on pipeline management. Managing team member roles and permissions is essential for controlling who can access, modify, and manage lead data within your account. Role-based permissions determine each team member's capabilities—from viewing reports to managing campaigns or inviting new users. This workflow walks you through updating an existing team member's role in your Leadpoet account dashboard.

Before you begin

  • You must be logged into your Leadpoet account at leadpoet.com
  • You must have OWNER-level permissions on the account (only account owners can change user roles)
  • The user whose role you want to update must already be a member of your team
  • You must know which role you want to assign (e.g., Editor, Viewer, Manager, Owner)

Step by step

1
ClickAccount

Click the Account button in the top navigation to open your account settings and dashboard where team management options are located.

Tip. The Account button is typically located in the top navigation bar or user menu. Look for your account name or an account icon if the text label is not visible.

Tip. The Team section may be collapsed by default. Look for a 'Team' label or expand icon in the Account dashboard. You should see a list of team members with their names, company information, and current role assignments.
